This just amused the heck out of me. That paint job can't have been easy for either person, but heaven forbid they use the same color of green on the same pillar. Next thing you know both houses would be the same color, and no one would know whose was whose. (What if one of them decides to remodel his porch and take out the pillar? Can he only remove half of it?) 37th & Spring Garden, Philadelphia, PA, Dec. 26 2008. Big Lucious belongs to the third-tier syndicate known as the Oryza Kings, where he is a ground-level distributor selling sticky rice directly to the public. He typically operates in the 71st partition, section West. Big Lucious lost significant business in the 2006 rise of the Botan Boys and is currently seeking a buyer for his step van. Lucious lost his van for a month in 2002 and he was reduced to selling his packets, pre-made, from an tricycle. The van was spotted and later recovered by a Oryza trader running banana leaves through a Botan neighborhood.

I've been to Philly three times now to train physics teachers, each time for just a weekend, and have eaten at Sitar India for lunch five times. I love Indian food but rarely eat it because there are no good, inexpensive Indian restaurants near where I live, and no Indian buffet at all. I like variety, which is why I love the buffet so much. I also love that Sitar India's buffet is more than 2/3 vegetarian dishes. Not shown in the photo: some amazing rice pudding.

Philadelphia's Center City Skyline as seen from 32nd Street in University City (West Philadelphia). The Comcast Center (on left) is currently Philadelphia's tallest building at just under 1000' tall. It's not even complete and there is already plans for a new skyscraper to be built across the street and completely dwarf it at 1500' (as reported at www.phillyskyline.com/acc1.htm).

Photo #33 in project 365 Election day - police patrols are on almost every intersection, making sure there is no hanky-panky business. Final push - lots of last minute candidate praisings (mostly for Obama) What you see is a moving violation for the girl on the bike. I know a case like that when a guy was fined $150 in the same situation - running red light on a bike. Here, it got only a look of disapproval and contempt.

One morning, my alarm went off, and I mumbled something about how the water lillies will come back. It made no sense, and I had a laugh about it (after I fully woke up).
