Kwangtung Voyage #3 Saturday 30th April 1994: Pont de Saint Nazaire In 1994, I spent three months working on a container ship sailing between Europe and ports in the Indian Ocean. I recently discovered my slide photos from the trip, and have scanned some of them into my computer. On the fifth day, we called in at Montoir, at the mouth of the River Loire. Arriving shortly after dawn, we passed under the St-Nazaire cable-stayed bridge spanning the river - an impressive piece of engineering.
