Notre Dame, Ile de la Cite, Paris, France I found an antique postcard from 1915 in a Parisian store that had this exact view as it's image. I loved it so much that I looked at a map of the city to guesstimate the location where the postcard's photographer had stood 90 years earlier and trekked to that same spot. And then something happened that my predecessor missed out on – a flock of pigeons fluttered into frame, making my shot only slightly better than his. But he'll never know.
