We visited Lawton, a low income neighborhood in suburbia Havana. To preserve their culture and bring some income into the neighborhood, they developed Proyecto Comunitario Muraleando (Community Mural Making Project). They have painted murals on walls, water towers, houses, and put in sculptures and made the community a brighter place to live and visit.
