Plaza del Cabildo - Sevilla (Spain). ENGLISH The Plaza del Cabildo is a small semicircular square well-known by the own Sevillians, located in the District of the Arenal of Seville, next to the Cathedral. Composed by a series of arches (decorated with frescos) that lean in marble columns. On those arches it has built up to three plants. In the center of the square it exists a fountain, semicircular also. In one of its accesses is a winch where they dispatch all type of candies made in the different convents from the city. Around the square under the decorated arcs it exist several stores specialized in numismatist and philately. This square has the particularitity of that each weekend, Sunday, from very early hour to almost lunch time, when taking a walk through, it can be found and be talked with different types from traveling retailers who buy and sell all type of merchandise, although more are specialized in numismatist, philately and archaeological as well as mineral rest. In some occasions, picaresque that entail this type of markets includes put false elements put on sale. ------------------------- CASTELLANO La Plaza del Cabildo es una pequeña placita semicircular poco conocida por los propios sevillanos, ubicada en el Barrio del Arenal de Sevilla, junto a la Catedral. Compuesta por una serie de arcadas (decoradas con frescos) que se apoyan en columnas de mármol. Sobre esas arcadas hay edificadas hasta tres plantas. En lo que se puede llamar centro de la plaza existe una fuente, semicircular también. En uno de sus accesos se encuentra un torno donde se despachan todo tipo de dulces fabricados en los distintos conventos de la ciudad. Alrededor de la plaza bajo los decorados arcos existen varias tiendas especializadas en numismática y filatelia. Esta plaza tiene la particularidad de que cada fin de semana, el domingo, desde muy temprana hora hasta casi la hora del almuerzo, al pasear por ella, se puede encontrar y conversar con distintos tipos de comerciantes ambulantes que compran y venden todo tipo de mercancías, aunque están más especializados en numismática, filatelia y restos arqueológicos así como minerales.
