Église St-Jean-Baptiste (HDR)

The magnificient inside of the Église St-Jean-Baptiste in Montréal, on the Rachel street. This church is the third on this site and was built between 1912 and 1914. Sadly it is closed to the public, except when there is a religious service. I was lucky to be nearby early enough to take pictures before the Sunday morning mass. I think it's a bit of a hidden treasure. The HDR image was made from three frames, 2/3 of a stop apart. Cropped.

Looks like every other picture I have been uploading lately is of a church, but there are so many of them in Montréal! This one, dedicated to Our Lady of the Rosary and to Saint Jude (Thaddeus), is on rue Saint-Denis, not far from a few really nice pubs...;-)
