Goat cheese (chevre), not even wrapped, on display at one of the cheesemonger stands at Sunday farmer's market at Place Monge in the Paris's Latin Quarter (5th Arrondissement). Bought one round of goat cheese here. I don't suppose you can get any fresher than this, short of making it yourself.

This gentleman was one of many metro musicians we heard during our stay in the City of Lights. Most of them were actually quite good. I only wish I'd caught the claranetist and accordian player who shared some excellent jazz with the passengers.
