i used to take this kind of picture all of the time. further explanation: people who have followed my photostream for the last two years know that i used to do a lot of architectural photography and found particular inspiration in brazilian modernism in general and niemeyer´s fabulous curves and angles in particular. i don't want to sound egotistical, but i think i was fairly decent at this kind of thing and it certainly kept me going for a time. still, i moved on to other projects and pretty much abandoned architectural photography altogether. when i took this, i thought twice but i had wanted to get into the auditorium ever since it opened and i realized that i might not get back in, so i basically took one or two tourist snaps. when i saw this, i went past it but when i looked again, i thought it was halfway decent if a bit meaningless to me. the other picture of mine that this reminds me of is also an unusual one for me: the .
