We had only 1 night in Périgueux so early on that cloudy morning we started walking around town. The main attraction was this bysantine-style cathedral. The building is huge and it is impossible to grasp the whole expanse of this church... In front of this cathedral on the square there was a huge market where you could buy anything from local traditional cloths to fois gras in any shape or form - special duck liver that this region of South of France, Périgord, is famous for.
