This panography was made on Bastille Day in 2007, while the millitary forces were doing some PR in the Capital (here in front of the Opera Garnier). You could climb in their tanks, see what a soldier looks like... without having a risk to be slaughtered. Ah... Bastille Day, and its millitary action!

The huge Paris Opera House, viewed from the back (north) side. Compare the scale of the building to the city bus (far right). It is an amazing sight. It was built by Charles Garnier (~1874) and is sometimes called Opera Garnier.
