Trees grow from the top of windows in a service building behind the (once) grand old apartment building on East Broad Street in Olde Towne. It may be making a comeback as condos. A man on the way out of the BREAD meeting at Tifereth Israel next door said his older sister used to live (until she passed away) in the back apartment around to the left on the ground floor for years and years.
