The Naval Home was completed in 1834 and was designed by William Strickland. It was originally constructed as the Naval Asylum and Hospital, but also was the home for the Naval Academy before it moved down to Annapolis. It was abandoned from 1976 to 2004, and has been converted into luxury condos. On the National Register #72001173 and also a National Historic Landmark.

The gorgeous former chapel is now the exercise room for the complex (probably one of the most architecturally interesting exercise rooms in the country). Sorry for the bad photo quality, I had to take the photo through a window.
