I was going to post the lyrics to Let's get it on by Marvin Gaye, but they're a bit suggestive (either that or I'm having a hot flush), so I'll post you a link to Youtube instead! We had a lovely walk along the Forth and Clyde Canal this afternoon and there were loads of little iridescent damselflies darting about. I stopped to take some photos and noticed this pair having a little quiet time. I think these are blue tailed damselflies - please correct me if I'm wrong. Unfortunately it was quite windy and the blade of grass kept moving about, so it's not as good as I hoped, but still shows off the pretty colours, I think.


Outside the Central Bay

RM910 parked in front of the clock on the central bay of the former Gavinburn bus depot at Old Kilpatrick. The depot opened in 1936 and closed about 1996/97. This bus was new to London Transport in 1961 but later was garaged here while serving with Kelvin Scottish between 1986 and 1992. The garage buildings appear to have been converted into a fitness centre and warehousing.

Another phoito taken on Sunday - this time it's my Monday photo. I was intending to go out at lunchtime and take photos as it was another glorious day, but I went for lunch with friends instead. Besides, I couldn't resist a lovely cheery shot of daffodils!

Bored on the train to work, I took this at Kilpatrick Station with the sun almost in my eyes. I'm amazed I got any detail of the station, but pleased with the reflexion of the camera.
