What a surprise its raining again today, so since we couldnt head out shooting we got a bunch of flowers and took some shots of them, this one I just got off the camera few minutes ago and played with, will look through the others after posting it. Not sure why but it lost a lot of its color when it uploaded to flickr, but what the heck will leave it up anyways -Update played with it in Picnik a little and got some of the color back But I have come to the conclusion I get much more enjoyment strollign around taking shots than trying to setup at home and take shots Hope everyone's weekend is going well Comments appreciated, Constructive critique even more appreciated, best way for me to learn better on B l a c k M a g i c

And there was one or two of them flying around our neighbourhood, but no way would they appear while I had my camera out there with me, sat for an hour or more and saw the cardinals fly by and make random stops but would fly off again so quickly had to make to do with this shot, not sure what it is but at least it has some reds the way its looking at me I feel its almost giving me the eye and saying forget the cardinals there to quick for you..LOL Was so humid out there sweat was dripping of me, am inside to cool down a bit then will go out and try again Comments appreciated, Constructive critique even more appreciated, best way for me to learn better on B l a c k M a g i c

Todays challenge on Photochallenge.org was Camera. So I got out my old Pentax camera and took this shot, which I kind of like I enjoyed using the film Camera, but with Digitals it is so much better for me can play around and experiment without the cost of getting film developed Really enjoying this daily challenge and it makes me think of and get shots that would never have crossed my mind other wise Hope everyone has had a good weekend Better on B l a c k M a g i c

Although of no great architectural interest the new Fine Arts building on Culver Avenue is a vast improvement over the art departments former quarters. Large studios with natural light replace the low florescent lit rooms where I took life drawing and design. The building features a Maya Lin sculpture in the entrance garden area.
