I just learned, courtesy of Sherri, courtesy of the DC Flickr group, that there are only two full moons of the year that rise over the monuments like this. So she and I and Marc met up over by the Iwo Jima Memorial to see what we could get. I love the glow of the lights already showing on the monuments and the reflections on the river. The lights of the bridge spanning the water. The streaks of traffic on Rt. 110 below me.
