Salzburg - Mozart's Birthplace
Made by *Checco* (On Vacation)
The Mozarts lived in 9 Getreidegasse from 1747 to 1773, and their son Wolfgang Amadeus was born there in 1756. Today, the home of the Mozart family is a museum where famous exhibits are displayed. Among other attractions, visitors to the museum can see the violin played by the world-famous musical genius as a child, his concert violin, his clavichord, a pianoforte, portraits, and letters of the Mozart family. The museum was opened as long ago as 15 July 1880 by the International Mozart Foundation. In recent years, it has been systematically redesigned and expanded. Every year, thousands of tourists from all over the world visit this memorial to the great composer.

Getreidegasse

This street was typical for the streets in the Altstadt of Salzburg, very narrow, pedestrians only, and full of small shops with guild-like signs hung out front

Another Mozart Street

I don't remember the name of the street - what i do remember is that almost every street in Salzburg makes some claim or other to its Mozart provenance.
