Mount Vernon, New York
Mount Vernon (Mt. Vernon) is a city in Westchester County, New York, on the northern border of New York City. It is the eighth largest city in New York state. As of the 2000 census the population was at 68,321. The city is on the Bronx River and the Hutchinson River.
