Taken while on location at Mt. Airy Forest for a 3 day shoot (for a theatre performance project). I've never taken a nature picture (as such), and I had to quickly swap out lens and take this before the deer bounded off into the dense woods. It turned out well, I think. I figured I should at least give it a try (this nature photography) but I don't see myself spending hours in the woods looking at birds and animals and taking macro's of leaves and foliage and water drops on petals (not because I can't appreciate those that do it, or the skill it involves, it's not something that piques my interest).
