I took a boat out with a bunch of Americans from the military base to go scuba diving. This is Moucha Island, out in the Gulf of Aden. Reefs are incredible in this area. You can see, close to the beach, the reef mere feet under the surface. In the deeper reef I found a large moray eel and a herd of sea cucumbers. The water was warm and calm and full of life.
