Another shot from Oslo's Vigeland Park. This central tower (dubbed Monolitten, or Monolith) took over ten months to design and twenty years to construct, culminating with an unveiling ceremony on Christmas Day, 1944. The sculpture is 14m (46ft) high and contains 121 separate human figures.
