At the Kiyomizu-dera Temple, on the main tourist trail in Kyoto. Most of the tourists are Japanese from other parts of the country. The city's ancient cultural history is apparently still held in high regard throughout Japan. About the two folks bottom-right, their body language suggests their embarrassment at being in the picture. They want to get out of my way shooting the pic. Very Japanese reticence/politeness there. But of course I needed them in! Gomen nasai (sorry)! Hành hương. Chùa Kiyomizu-dera, trên đường du lịch chính cho du khách Nhật sang Kyoto. Hình như lịch sử, văn hoá của Kyoto vẫn còn được đánh giá cao trong cả nước.

A statue of Sakamoto Ryoma and... another guy whose name I can't make out. Nice statue, though. For some strange reason, whenever I try to print this, it cuts off Ryoma's head, just about at his mouth.... Weird.
