Rio de Janeiro, 2005 My room at the Luxor Copacabana Hotel featured a decent view across Avenida Atlântica to Copacabana Beach and the Atlantic Ocean. I had only just arrived in Rio a couple of hours prior to this; but I was already completely enamored by the city and the Cariocas.
