My mother had a 1960 Comet when I was little. She bought it new and kept it for about eight years. It was stripped--I think the only option was an automatic transmission. This '61 is a little fancier, with a vinyl top and a center console and a lot more exterior chrome. I'm guessing it's also a tad faster than Mom's six-cylinder version was.
