Skallefabrik

Skallefabrikken (shell factory) is, or rather was a factory that processed oyster shells into a high calcium product for hens. The Oyster shells were dug up from the buttom of Roskilde Fjord, where the oysters lived more than 1000 years ago. For different reasons the Skallefabrik was shut down, and in this picture the destruction of the factory has already begun.
