It was a brilliant gig - their set was ace and they played a really good selection of songs from all 10 albums (although I can't actually remember anything from Lifeblood). They played loads of early stuff and 3 songs from Holy Bible which is still my favourite album. They started with You Love Us and ended with an epic rendition of Everything Must Go. Even better, when we got outside we saw a guy wearing a Kinesis t shirt and took a picture of Mike stood with him! I decided not to use a picture of the band for my photo of the day as none of them were really great. I kept trying to do a bokeh shot of the lights which was actually pretty hard to do with my compact as it just kept focusing too sharply! I liked this one in the end though!

Kaiser Chiefs - Live 21st February 2007 @ Manchester Apollo T'chiefs are notoriously difficult to photograph on stage. They're too sodding bouncy. This is one of the handful I got thats half decent all night... though as I got to be involved in Ricky's crowdsurfing, and they were on the high of a #1 single that week, I'm not complaining...

The largely intact Apollo / ABC cinema at Ardwick, Manchester. Now a major concert venue. Unfortunately the distinctive holophane lighting which used to have a major contribution to the atmosphere in the auditorium is no longer working. The vast cinema seated 2,631. With the stalls seating out for a concert, 3,500 can be admitted.
