I loved the feet of the elephants - apparently the weight is taken towards the front of the foot where the toenails are. The heel is like spongy tissue. We also learnt that elephants only sweat near the toenails - nowhere else on their bodies.

The pink trunk is because of depignmentation, which happens as the elephant ages (like age spots) or when the elephant is injured and the skin grows back (like scars in humans). This example is just the ageing version.

A really huge asian elephant, 9 feet tall I think. He is unusually tall and gentle, but compared with the African elephants he would only be of average size - amazing.

Pineapples, bananas, watermelon and supposedly cucumber (but they didn't really like those last ones too much).
