(077) This shot was taken from the Farragut statue on the north end of Madison Square Park. Hopefully, the Flatiron Building will someday be seen again in all its glory without the scaffolding and draping (which is seen here) which for several years has obscured the landmark. I seem to have a camera in hand only when construction or restoration is underway.

I now understand why the New York flatiron building is famous. It's a beautiful structure. The white tree in the foreground is a silver sculpture.
