- Castillo de Gibralfaro and Alcazaba. Moorish castles which are interesting to see, the former giving the visitor an incredible view of the city and neighbouring suburbs. Together, these two attractions will cost an adult about €3. If you only have time for one, make it the easier to access and more decorated Alcazaba; the Castillo is a hefty hike up the mountain (or take bus number 35). Free Sunday afternoons after 14:00, Closed on Mondays.
- Interactive Museum of Music. Has one of the largest collections of musical instruments in Europe.
- Picasso's birthplace, with loads of objects and some paintings that the most famous artist of the 20th century used during his childhood. Entrance €1.
- Picasso Museum Maximum cost €8. Exclusive paintings, and exhibitions.
- Centro de Arte Contemporáneo located in a former wholesale trade market, it houses a good collection of works of art and installations. Guided visits. Free entrance. Closed on Mondays.
- Catedral de Malaga. This is located right in the heart of the city centre and is well worth visiting. It costs €3.50 to enter.

Otra de las playas más famosas de la ciudad, aunque no tan conocida como las turísticas playas de Torremolinos, Benalmádena o Fuengirola. La verdad es que su estado muchas veces deja mucho que desear. Hasta hace tan solo unos años existía un gran poblado de chabolas en plena playa, y a pesar de que se supone que se ha rehabilitado con la construcción del paseo marítimo, ahora se está urbanizando de una manera tan agresiva, que siento vergüenza de que manejen la ciudad quienes la manejan. Y es que en esta playa en la que siempre me he bañado desde pequeñito, y por lo tanto siento mucho apego a ella. La chimenea que se ve al fondo corresponde a las fábricas que hubo en plena costa, siguiendo la industrialización del barrio industrial de Huelin, del que ya he hablado alguna vez. Esta en concreto se le llama la chimenea Mónica, por que durante muchos años ha lucido una pintada gigante que ponía eso, Mónica. Es una de las chimeneas más altas de España. En cuanto a la playa, toma su nombre de la Casa de la Misericordia, antiguo colegio de niños huérfanos y actual centro cívico. La foto está tomada en un día bastante nublado como se puede ver, así es cómo cada vez más veo el futuro de Málaga. Málaga, Andalucía P.D.
