But...
Made by hugociss
And at the end of the time I, Nebuchadnezzar, lifted my eyes to heaven, and my understanding returned to me; and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever: For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom is from generation to generation. All the inhabitants of the earth are reputed as nothing; He does according to His will in the army of heaven And among the inhabitants of the earth. No one can restrain His hand Or say to Him, What have You done? Daniel 4:34-35 New King James Version HDR.

Endless Lights
Made by Shoeven
This picture was taken out of Cloud 9 - the awesome bar at the top of the Jin Mao Tower in Shanghai. Since they had multiple-sheet windows and lights were bouncing of the glass from the inside i had to position my camera very close to the window. Therefor i couldn't use my tripod and so this 3-shot HDR is handheld @11mm, f2.8 and ISO200 for 2, 8 and 30 seconds (with the support of the window). A bit of shaking resulted in the final picture being a little out of focus, but i think it turned out alright!

Maglev train, Shanghai, China
Made by chris@durham
Magnetic Levitation train, floats on a magnetic field. The train travels at an unbelievable 280mph, from central Shanghai to the provincial airport 30 miles away.....in 6 minutes. The two trains pass each other at the halfway point, a few feet apart, at a combined speed of over 500mph. Which is quite exciting...... Not a particularly stunning photo, but boy what a machine ! - see www.smtdc.com/en/index.asp

Shanghai World Financial Center (上海环球金融中心) and Jin Mao Tower (金茂大厦), Shanghai China. Perspective correction via Hugin. A 100% improvement on my shot - however Hugin's correct output is still slightly off to my eyes.

Shanghai World Financial Center, also called bottle opener due to obvious reason. Das WFC heisst auch Flaschenöffner, der Grund dürfte offensichtlich sein. Spot the window cleaners?
