New York City, the Lower East Side. Ludlow St, just a few blocks south of Houston. This was my first trip to the city, and I didn't know what to expect. I stayed in the building I was standing upon to take this. I love the Lower East Side; a lot of the stores and restaurants are posh, but the apartments and architecture of the buildings look worn, giving it a really gritty, urban feel. In some ways, it reminded me of downtown Detroit.

Manhattan. February 2007. (Architect: Bernard Tschumi) - crazy blue building. I believe this was taken from Delancey on the way towards the Williamsburg bridge. The buiding's address is 105 Norfolk Street.
