On the menu as a Dynamite Roll, Ajisai special. They use corn flakes in a few of their stuff, in rolls and sprinkled on salad. Unexpected, but in this roll with avocado, cucumbers, tobiko, and imitation crab meat, the corn flakes added a nice crunch. In Kerrisdale, Vancouver.

Profile view of saba pressed sushi (oshizushi) was out-of-this-world delicious. A super-thin slice of seaweed on top, and I think there were delicate sprinkles of shizo leaves underneath the saba. 2081 West 42nd Ave, Vancouver (Kerrisdale) Tel: 604-266-1428

We had FANTASTIC sushi at Ajisai in Vancouver, in a neighborhood called Kerrisdale. Here you see uni, hamachi, and of course, salmon.
