This is the four masted schooner Moshulu, permanently docked on the Philly waterfront at Penn's Landing as a restaurant and bar. It was constructed in 1904, and was a working ship for a long while. It became a restaurant in 1975. Actually, I just learned of a book by Eric Newby called The Last Grain Race about his time spent on the Moshulu in 1939 where he witness the end of the era of sail. After that trip, no more commercial trips were undertaken by sail. It's funny to think that now ship designers are considering making hybrid sail-power ships in order to save gas.
