Lessing-Gymnasium (Frankfurt)

The Lessing-Gymnasium is the oldest Gymnasium in Frankfurt am Main. It was founded in 1519 by the city council. The first foreign language is Latin starting in 5th grade. In the 6th grade French or English is offered and in the 8th grade the student can choose between Ancient Greek and another modern language. The school also has got a variety of the fine arts: It has got several orchestras and choirs.
