Michelle and Patrick and there son run the Park des Millandes. It is the public face of the chateau that Josephine Baker lived in and from where she spread her gospel of truth and reconciliation between all races. Some of this article is bollocks (small details, like how long it take to get to the Perigord by train from Paris) but the general gist is OK. www.latimes.com/news/columnists/la-tr-spano2jul02,1,25087... The vibe in this place is great and it's a lovely environment in which to have a swim and a drink. See you there some time.
