An sculture with maybe two lovers standing above a gate of Le Grand Palais in Paris. I felt like giving an antique look to this shot, a kind of tribute to Sir Lawrence Alma-Tadema's paintings who became famous for his depictions of the luxury and decadence of the Roman Empire, with langorous figures set in fabulous marbled interiors. The Grand Palais (Grand Palace) is a large glass exhibition hall (40 000 m²) that was built for the Paris Exhibition of 1900. It is located in the VIIIe arrondissement of Paris, France. Built at the same time as the Petit Palais and the Pont Alexandre III, the exterior of this massive palace combines an imposing Classical sont façade with a riot of Art Nouveau ironwork. The building was closed for 12 years for extensive restoration work after one of the glass ceiling panels fell in 1993. It reopened on Saturday 24 September 2005. This place has many exhibitions Salons as the Salon de la Société Nationale des Beaux Arts, Salon d'Automne and painters shows.

Pan american nightmare Ten thousand feet fun-fair Convinved that I don’t care It’s safe as houses I swear I was just sitting musing The virtues of cruising When altitude dropping My ears started popping One more red nightmare Sweat beginning to pour down My neck as I turn round I heard fortune shouting Just get off of this outing A farewell swan song See you know how turbulence can be The stewardess made me One more red nightmare Reality stirred me My angel had heard me The prayer had been answered A reprieve has been granted The dream was now broken Thought rudely awoken Really safe and sound Asleep on the greyhound One more red nightmare King Crimson

This picture was done at the entrance of Le Grand Palais in Paris. Recently it was restored but I thought that this layer was adding some ephemeral modernity to the building.
