January 2nd, 2010 - London, England I literally ran after this woman to take this shot - as I was walking up Brick Lane, I saw her shuffling across the junction at the end of the street and was immediately struck by the harmony of the colours in her shawl and those in the posters and graffiti-ed shopfront ahead of her. If I'd arrived two seconds later, she would have no longer have been in the sunlight and the shot would not have worked. The shape of her shadow was an added bonus. Please click to view on black.

How many times has that Morrisey lyric been (ab)used, i wonder? Seemed appropriate that I used it here, as a bit of demolition work revealed this 'reach' (def: hit, spot, bomb, tag). Its great to have a reach revealed by this deconstruction. Makes you wonder how the hell it got up there. Famously remember a RASKEL tag in Brum city, Dale End - it was about 30 foot up the wall with no visible sign of support structure.

Here are a couple of the test shots I took with my old Lubitel. Seems ok, a bit of light leak (not sure why though as it's not on all of the photos) - overall pretty good. I like that it's small and light enough to carry around with my other cameras... Will give it another go next week.

I found F, D, G, M, T, R, E, W, H and X in one night. Apparently they're by a graffiti artist called Eine. Has he done all 26 letters? If so, where are the other 16? It would be nice to complete the . Update: Completed

Stunning new work. Silver paint on paper. Not sure of artist yet. Not sure of title, but 'El progreso – the march of progress' might be a contender. October 2010.

Continuing my (unintended) 'Disturbing' theme for this week; my lips, dragged through Photoplus until they begged for mercy.
