This is a mid morning shot taken at the University of Michigan Law Quad. It was a nice, sunny morning and I liked the way the sun shone through the arches. Just trying out my new Olympus E-3. So far, I really like it. A related shot, taken from a different angle can be seen

The first of two February photo safari's of the Flickr group Exposure.Detroit was to Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan campus. This is a shot similar to one I had done before but I really wanted to try an HDR version since I was there the first time back in December.

The Law Quad is one of my favorite places on campus. I take a walk there sometimes, especially during a bad day, to sit in the courtyard. Surrounded by gorgeous architecture and lots of green grass and trees--it helps :)
