The next door neighbor's house has been staring at me the last several years, begging me to shoot this one edge of opposites I see out a bathroom window. I wanted to make the image feel very old and saturate the colors deeply (basically emulate a Lomo camera image) to give the impression I get when seeing this house, which is one of old and new, fresh and crumbling, vibrant and dull. Thanks to a shot through glass, a square format crop, then Flickr member conceptDawg's to emulate digitally what I can not currently do without a Lomo camera, I think I got what I wanted.
