A family gathers nuts from a tree near the Garfield Monument in Lake View Cemetery in Cleveland, 10 November 2006. I imagined the nuts were for some mysterious Chinese delicacy ... but perhaps not. Anyone know? I am not sure what sort of tree it was. Picture #1 was taken with the D70, the 18-70 lens and a Nikon polarizing filter; picture #2 was taken with the D70s, the 18-200 lens and the Cokin filter system, gray No. 2 filter. I had both cameras going for the entire afternoon, and it worked out pretty well. Here's a link to Lake View's Guest Photographers page. I think I will send one of these Garfield shots.

Hmm ... I was making a second pass through some of my shots and for some reason, this one intrigued me. I'm not sure if I like this one or what could be different about it. What do you guys think?
