pekin at lafreniere park in louisiana. most of these ducks are dumped or the offspring of dumper ducks. i can always remember going to this park as a kid to feed the ducks. dumping ducks is terrible, but these seem to be taken care of by people who come by daily.

my favorite duck of the trip. he came right up to me and insisted i feed his corn out of my hand. he let me pet his head and back. i wish i could have taken this guy home with me.
