I took this series of pictures in December 2009, but I remember an epsiode that still makes me smile: I was so focused on the bikes that were parked at the train station, that I didn't notice a man walking up to his bike. When I'd finished taking my pictures, he asked me if I'd been taking pictures of the bikes. I said yes and added (with a smile) that I had no intention of stealing any of the bikes. When I showed him the pictures in the camera, he was surprised that I'd even noticed those details and I felt that I'd opened his eyes to something new (at least for about five minutes...) I'm back on my feet, but I have to admit that my bed is still my favourite place to spend my spare time, so I'm still more absent from flickr than usual.

322/365 The girl to the left in the picture is my bestest friend in the whole wide world. I honestly don't know what I would do without her. For a long time now, she'd been talking about getting a tattoo on her foot as a memorial to the tsunami that struck Thailand 26 December 2004. She was there on the beach and managed to run from the water - which I am sincerely thankful for. Otherwise I would never have met her. I came along to keep her company and to capture the event (I guess my friends are getting just as fed up with my Project 365 as I can be some days, since I tend to involve them and their life in it). So I came home with this series - and I still don't have any tattoos, in case you wonder ;-)

342/365 ....never enough red Red is one of my favourite colours, so I just love when I find little red dots that light up the white colours that dominate the scenery right now. My town has been covered by a wonderful fog today and it's left everything covered with rime. That's one of those beautiful wonders of winter (oh yes, now that we've got snow, I've actually almost stopped complaining about the weather....) When I had to run some errands, I took the time to capture the rime on the trees - and I couldn't help noticing how I could feel the ice crystals in the air when they hit the skin on my face.

...yet again. I couldn't believe my ears, when I woke up yesterday to the sound of one of my neighbours shovelling snow in the backyard. The sight of a snow-covered city wasn't exactly what I'd wished for in my hunger for spring, but I ended up going for a walk anyway - I had to go check the allotment and cover the broken cottage window (left by the burglars). I cannot take credit for the snowman, I found him like this on my way home. But I do plead guilty to shooting him ;-)

345/365 An spontaneous idea, and I found myself in the cinema, waiting for the latest Harry Potter film to begin. I was early, so I thought that I could sneak my camera out and take my daily picture unnoticed - but no. Just as I was getting ready to take the picture, a family sat down in front of me and the father started chatting to me about my camera, wanting to know how much a camera like mine costs. ...oh, and I found out that Hermoine Granger has the kind of purse that I've advertised for several times. It's exactly the kind of camera bag I need :-)

The Trapholt-Wall was made by artist Finn Reinbothe in collaboration with the museum architect Boje Lundgaard in 1994-96. The wall separates the sculpture garden from the parking lot and also leads the visitors to the museum entrance. The museum opened in 1988. Jacobsen´s Kubeflex II

The prototype summerhouse was built 1970 and is the only of its kind. It consists of 6 cubic modules of 10 square meters each. It was meant to be a flexible system where units could be combined in different ways and more units could be added later. It was introduced at a house fair but the market was not ready and Kubeflex was never put into production. Architect: Arne Jacobsen (1902-71). Trapholt Museet, Kolding, Denmark.

by glass maker Karen Lise Krabbe. www.karenlisekrabbe.dk/ Glass cast in sand with manual 3D-printing. Tiny glass boxes are made of glass and sand, created in a technique resembling modern 3D-printing. As the glass melts, the sand is used as a mold, and once the glass has cooled off, the glass shapes with a sandy surface are pulled out, looking both alien and natural.

295/365 I wasn't happy with my original picture, so Friday evening, I went out searching for something to capture and ended up shooting the old windmill in town. I know there's several flaws and that I should have placed the camera so I didn't get that hedge to the right in the picture, but I didn't bring my tripod and used one of the poles in the bottom of the picture.

Koldinghus Castle

Koldinghus was built in the middle of the 13th century, and in the centuries that followed it was one of Denmark's most important royal castles. In 1808 there was a fire - caused by Spanish soldiers - that left the castle in ruins. Today the castle has been restored and houses a museum which is a centre for cultural activities and special exhibitions of international standing.

Kolding: Koldinghus Castle

Koldinghus is the castle in the town of Kolding. The castle was founded in 1268 and over the centuries it was expanded many times. In 1808 the castle burned down and remained a ruin until the 1970's. It was decided to rebuild the castle. From the outside the dark wood panels are clearly visible that have been added to the ruin. Since 1991 the castle houses a museum.
