These lovely flowers are just a small part of a large bush outside my house in Lund. It took me at least 15-20 minutes to get a good shot at f/2.8 beacuse of heavy wind. In the end I picked a really fast shutterspeed, held the flowers in one hand and the camera in the other and practiced the old spray and pray technique.

I have thought about shooting this sign outside my local bakery for some time now. I wanted to capture its deep, intese red with the evening darkness as contrast. Sadly it turned out to be crap, making me mighty disappointed. So I turned it into black and white instead which made it real contrasty and nice.

On the fifth of March, at 17:20, in the year 2007, Ivan Svensson, father of my father and grandfather to five, peacefully passed away. He was cheerful and hearty through both old years and cumbersome ailments. He will be sorely missed.
