This is a lake called Knielinger See, close to the river Rhine. The lake had been a part of the Rhine until the straightening of the river in the early 19th century. Today it's a fishing paradise. The enormous positive feedback on my last HDR image the light show helped me with the decision to process this image with HDR and tonemapping. This time I took 3 different exposures and processed them with Photomatix. I hope you like this one, too.

... when you take long exposures at water in the evening. These beasts almost ate me up! I took this a few weeks ago and found it in my archives yesterday. I thought it´s worth to show you. :) Exposure time: 20 sec.
