An old bridge was moved to Kansas City's Union Station and is in the process of being repurposed as a pedestrian bridge that links Union Station to The Freight House/Crossroads District. This photo shows the stairs and elevator that are being built at the Freight House end of the bridge to allow people to access the bridge, walk across the railroad tracks and visit Union Station. The front entrance of Kansas City's Union Station. Union Station opened to the public back in 1914. The Station went through a giant renovation in the late '90s and re-opened to the public on January 1st, 2000.
