The new Bloch Building addition at The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Kansas City, Missouri - Friday night 6 July 2007. The Bloch Building is illuminated at night, with the original museum located next to it. This is looking toward the southeast, with the reflecting pool in the immediate foreground. I was born in the Kansas City area and have lived in Nebraska, Michigan, Texas, Virginia, Colorado and Oregon. Some how all roads seem to lead home to Missouri. This place in the heartland pulls me from where ever I am.
