Kaniv
Kaniv (Ukrainian: Kaniiv; Russian: Kanev, translit. Kanev; Polish:Kaniów) is a city located in the Cherkasy Oblast (province) in central Ukraine. The city rests on the Dnieper River, and is the administrative center of the Kanivsky Raion (district), however the city itself is also designated as a district in the oblast.
