CBC Calgary's Jeff Collins moderated the Parkland Institute’s panel on “The Alberta Boom: The REAL Costs”, on Tuesday, October 10, 2006. A panel discussion on the impacts of rapid energy expansion on the well-being of Albertans. Experts from across the province discussed the urban, rural and aboriginal effects of increased development. The Panel included Alan Gardner, Executive Director of Southern Alberta Land Trust Society (SALTS), Kerry Nielson, Aboriginal Strategist for the City of Calgary and Brian Pincott, Chair of the Sierra Club (Chinook Chapter).
