Shot taken at Montreal Botanical Garden. They are having a Chinese Lantern Festival at which hundreds of beautiful Lanterns with traditional Chinese taste are on shown. The whole way from the entrance of the Garden to the Chinese Garden is lit by starry lanterns of different color and shape. The highlight is in the central pond in Chinese Garden. The lake is decorated with huge dragon lanterns. One of them is a red dragon with blue tail. The above pic is the above-mentioned dragon and I zoomed out (you have to zoom out not in otherwise it's not cool! ) while taking the shot. The shutter speed was 1s at ISO100. A very chipper staff member told us how lucky we were to see the scorpions out on the rocks - apparently they prefer to lurk. She also explained that this horrific beast is one of the less-venomous species - the giant claws are the give-away.

I came back three days later, and it was still there. We had a staring contest for too long to admit. One guess as to who won. If I lived in Montreal, would do nothing but stare at this fish. I don't think it would mind the company.
