Izmail (Ukrainian: IIzmayil, translit. Izmayil; Russian and Bulgarian: Izmail, translit. Izmail; Romanian: Ismail; Turkish: Ismasil or Hacidar; also referred to as Ismail) is a historic town near the Danube river in the Odessa Oblast (province) of south-western Ukraine.
