Google Earth View, downloaded Jan 2007, over Itaewon & Hannamdong, showing location of Namsan Mountain, Hannam Bridge on the Han River, the Grand Hyatt Hotel in Itaewon, and my estimated location of my home 1959-62 in New Itaewon. The land where my house stood seems to be vacant now....did they tear down the New Itaewon housing to expand Namsan Park? Note: The satellite image this map was created from was taken sometime before 2004, based on observations below made by a friend who lives in southern Seoul.
